President Trump celebrates his 71st birthday

Wednesday is President Donald Trump’s 71st birthday! And celebrations have already begun around the world.

In an email to supporters last Thursday, First Lady Melania Trump invited her “loyal” friends to sign a card for the president, saying “I need your help to make it a birthday my husband will never forget.”

The First Lady and the First Son Barron Trump are in Washington, D.C., for the special occasion, after finally moving in.
In India, the party has already started for the Hindu Sena, an obscure right-wing group which adores the president. They started the morning by eating Trump birthday cake and even “fed” some to Trump who was pictured on a poster.

Whatever celebrations are in store for the president, they are sure to be memorable, as were some of his past birthday bashes.

According to the Washington Post, Trump’s 42nd birthday party in 1988 featured “a 15-foot spaceship zooming from the stage to hover amid smoke and flashing lasers above the birthday boy and his wife Ivana.”

A “light show” followed with dancers and magicians performing Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad,’ “reworked to honor the real estate mogul.”

The report noted, “And of course, there was to be a telegram from President Reagan and video birthday cards from Liza Minnelli, Billy Crystal, Dennis Miller and Joe Piscopo.”

At his birthday party in 1996, Trump was presented with a “chocolate cake decorated with icing images of all of Trump’s buildings and a sugar figure of Don, dressed like Superman with a money sign on its chest.”

For his 59th birthday in 2005, Trump was treated to a “trashy flash of cleavage” – as the New York Sun reported it – from Baywatch star Pamela Anderson before he blew out candles on a three-tier cake.

In 2012, Trump declared that the only birthday present he wanted was a country that was “great and prosperous again,” perhaps anticipating what would later become his presidential campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
