World's Largest Abortion Factory

Planned Parenthood's 2015 annual report reveals that the number of abortions they performed increased over the last year, while their contraceptive services declined.

According to Life News, Planned Parenthood performed 328,348 total abortions in 2015, an increase of 4,349 from the year prior. Their taxpayer funding also increased from $553.7 million in 2014 to $554.6 million in 2015.

Meanwhile, their actual health services declined; in particularly, their contraception services dropped by a million in the past two years. Prenatal services also declined by a half in a year: 17,419 to 9,419.
The report also provides further evidence that Planned Parenthood is manipulating data to buoy their bogus claim that abortions only account for 3% of their services:

Right to Life of Michigan, which analyzed the latest report, thinks the abortion group may be manipulating its numbers in new ways to maintain its “3 percent” claim.

“Planned Parenthood counts certain parts of a procedure or visit as a service. This enables them to count or not count whatever they want. Looking at their annual reports over the years, frequently new categories of services get added to the report out of thin air. Let’s use their most recent annual report as an example,” the pro-life group wrote on its blog.

One new category this year is “well women exams,” which include a pap test, breast exam and other services, according to the group.

“So, Planned Parenthood is counting the exam itself, the breast exam and the pap test as three services, tripling their numbers,” according to RTL of Michigan. “ … When Planned Parenthood adds all of the numbers up, they get 9,494,977 [total] services, an increase over the previous year despite a drop of 100,000 clients. Those services are just enough to keep abortion at 3.46 percent of their ‘services,’ awfully close to that magic 3.5 threshold of having to say ‘4 percent’ instead.”

The notion that Planned Parenthood is anything but an abortion factory has long been debunked, but their CEO, Cecile Richards, indirectly confirmed this by her refusal to accept Ivanka Trump's proposal to split the organization into two separate entities: one that focuses on women's health services and receives taxpayer funding and another that focuses exclusively on abortions and doesn't receive federal tax dollars.

Their latest report showing that their actual health services have declined while abortions have increased further highlights that Planned Parenthood's main focus is ending the lives of unborn babies.
